WHY WE DECIDED TO DO THIS?

After talking to so many mamas in all different stages of motherhood, from pregnancy to toddlers to teens, we noticed the same pattern. Majority were feeling depleted, isolated, and with low energy levels. We decided that we needed to come up with a fun, FREE and interactive challenge! Here the Majka Breakfast Challenge was born! 

Why Should you Join?

You’re probably wondering…  why a breakfast challenge though? Breakfast helps us feel our best by providing us with energy, kick-starting our metabolism for the day, easing anxiety, and boosting brainpower. It also supports our heart, weight, cholesterol, and memory!

One mama from our last challenge shared with us, “ During this challenge I began to become aware of nourishing myself before nourishing others. I found that the more I took small steps to caring for myself (preparing a good meal, actually sitting down to enjoy it, taking a walk, moving my body, journaling, meditating) the better I felt mentally and physically. I no longer felt I was giving out of “lack” to my baby and husband, but instead pouring from a full cup and doing it out of joy and gladness. Anytime I was having a hard day, I would reach into my bag of healthy habits created through this challenge to help me reset. The support through this group was incredibly helpful in helping me stay motivated and accountable. 

When you don’t fuel your body first thing, symptoms like fatigue, irritability, frustration, stress, anxiety, and overwhelm make themselves known. But even with this knowledge, many of us still fail to give our bodies what they need!

Another mama who participated in our last challenge said, “ I gained so much confidence in many areas – starting with baby steps helped me thinking how I could improve… like meal planning for breakfast led to planning other meals during the week. It just kept building a positive momentum. There are still challenging days, but I have a better, positive outlook on the day. Where I would feel frustrated when something would go wrong, I now focus on what I can control and don’t let it ruin my whole day. The challenge helps me structure my day for success! I didn’t know what to expect with this breakfast challenge and its’s been so much more than I’ve ever expected to get out of it.”

How do I join the challenge?

A. Follow the steps above ↑ By posting your selfie
in our Facebook group with your pledge card, you
have officially entered the 60 Day Breakfast
Challenge!

I don’t have a printer to print my pledge card, can I still join?

A. Absolutely! Many members use their phones to
keep track. There are a bunch of creative ways to
still make your pledge. Just write it on a simple
piece of paper and take a selfie. #noexcusesmama

What if I am starting the challenge late?

Still join! Print your pledge card, post your selfie &
introduce yourself. While the grand prize is
reserved for those that started on day 1 with us,
we still have a LOT of sub category prizes anyone
can win, regardless of when you started. And
anyone, new or old members, can win our weekly
challenge prizes!
So keep an eye out for the next weekly challenge,
announced on Mondays & jump on in right away!

How do we know what the weekly challenge is & who that week’s winners are?

Every Monday at 7pm PST we will announce the
winners & the next week’s weekly challenge in our
Facebook group via live video.
Also pay attention to the cover photo of the group! It
will change every week with information on that
week’s challenge.

Should I post my breakfast every day?

We know life gets busy… but we definitely
recommend checking in and sharing with the group
how your progress is going.

How do I win the grand prize at the end?

Majka is about putting yourself first, Mama. Taking
care of YOUR needs so you can best take care of
others. . We’ll be following along everyone’s journey
and rewarding people we think embody all that this
challenge & more importantly what Majka represents.
At the end of the challenge we will ask the group who
they feel helped inspire/encourage them throughout
the challenge and those votes will help in deciding our
grand prize winners!

Do I have to be breastfeeding to join?

No, it is for all stages of motherhood 🙂

Can I invite my friends to join the challenge?

Of course! And you will earn $10 Majka Dollars for each one who mentions you in their application.
