Good source of nutrients like zinc, magnesium, iron, and folate, which are all essential for nursing moms. Oats are a great source of fiber which can help breastfeeding moms stay full longer and promote healthy digestion.
Dates are a very sweet fruit that have a caramel-like taste. While dates are high in sugar they are also high in fiber. 3.5 oz of dates has 7g of fiber. This makes dates have a low glycemic index, which measures how quickly your blood sugar rises after eating certain foods. They are a good source of potassium, magnesium, copper, manganese, iron and vitamin B6. They also are a good source of antioxidants such as flavonoids, carotenoids, and phenolic acid.
Specific ingredients that not only help support lactation but also support overall optimal health. The ingredients in this blend have well researched antioxidant properties, which is important in helping reduce inflammation. Some super star ingredients on our blend: Black sesame, Cloves, Fennel, Turmeric and Caraway.
