Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip Lactation Cookie Recipe

As breastfeeding mamas, many of us find that we’re constantly craving sweets! The good news is that there are plenty of ways to get creative and make recipes that will nourish your body while also satisfying your sweet tooth, lactation cookies are perfect for this!

We were so inspired by health & wellness coach Carolina Poli, who created a delicious peanut butter & chocolate chip lactation cookie recipe using our Majka Nourishing Lactation Protein Powder! Keep reading to learn how to make this tasty recipe and learn about its health benefits:

 

Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip Lactation Cookie Recipe

 Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Lightly grease 8 slots of a standard muffin tin with coconut oil.
  3. Mix the dry ingredients - almond flour, Majka powder, and baking powder. Set mixture aside.
  4. Mix the wet ingredients - mash the bananas and mix with the peanut butter and date syrup.
  5. In a large bowl, mix the dry and wet ingredients and add the chocolate chips.
  6. Fill 8 of the muffin cups in the greased muffin tray ¾ full of the muffin batter.
  7. Top the batter with the sliced bananas (mix the sliced bananas with the date syrup, as this will prevent the bananas to dry out after baking).
  8. Bake the muffins in the oven for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick pulls clean.
  9. Set aside to cool and enjoy!
